In October 1976, a 21-year-old Randy Lum built a 2,250 square foot, four-bay shop in Poteau, Oklahoma. Over 18 years, two expansions, a wife, and two kids later, he'd grown it into a 10,650 square foot, 16-bay operation.
Ready for something new, Randy sold the shop and started selling automotive equipment from home in 1994. When his wife Mia got tired of him working off the pool table and out of the kitchen, she made him build a real office.
In 2004, Lum's moved into an 18,000 square foot facility in Shady Point, Oklahoma. Today, with a second office in Little Rock, Arkansas, we represent dozens of manufacturers and serve customers across a four-state area.
